New Day
family recovery

Kelly Hatcher

Kelly has worked in education as a teacher, emotional, behavioral counselor and educational trainer for the past 28 years. She is Nationally Certified in Family Recovery Coaching, and Intervention Specialist.

She’s also dealing with her son’s addiction as a single mother for the past ten years. Maybe like you, she thought it was “just weed” until it turned alcohol and then pills and then into heroin and anything else he could get his hands on. Her son has been in 15 rehabs and numerous PHPs, IOPs and Sober Homes.

Kelly knows what it feels like to live with an addict. When he wouldn’t come home, or her jewelry, money, cameras and laptops were stolen, police were at her home numerous times, she thought her son may be dead after living on the streets in Portland for six months, ruining relationships, finding her son shooting up in his car and in her home and the list goes on. He recently spent 42 days in the hospital with a lung infection and his body going into Sepsis. This was due to his addiction.

Yes, addiction affects the family and their friends.

Kelly will listen and support your entire family as they work through this challenging disease called addiction.
